Content Production

Introduction

This introductory course is aimed at beginners who may not have previously created a podcast and want to learn the basics, as well as being a refresher course for those with a little more experience.  

Outcomes:

• Discover what makes good Podcast material and develop an understanding of basic audio recording techniques through hands on experience.  
• Learn how to use the best free audio edit software on the market
• Produce a short piece of content, working within a collaborative group setting.

Advanced

Outcomes:

• Advance your skills and knowledge of creating interesting Podcasts.
• Understand the theory behind audience insight and how to apply this knowledge to optimise your listener’s engagement.  
• Review your presentation skills, including pace of delivery and tone of voice and how to enhance the podcast through the application of digital editing software techniques.
• Review your podcast and reflect on presentation and engagement of your target audience, working within a small collaborative group setting.
• Course is 3-days in duration, delivered in-person at either our offices at Chalfont Grove (SL9 8TN) or at client location. 
• There is a CPD accreditation of 21 hours upon course completion. 

Premiere Pro & After Effects are used extensively in the media industry, in social media production and the creation of factual adverts. 

We cover the production of quality content and the importance of story and content production, along with covering how to enhance the final output and make it more engaging to your audience.

Outcomes:

• Gain experience taking raw video, editing it and producing a final short piece.
• Understand media importation and exportation
• Understand differing post-production techniques and industry standards.
• Be able to add graphical elements, transitions and mixing shots.

Graphic design software is used extensively in the media industry and in social media production to create eye-catching imagery. 

We cover the production of quality content and the importance of story and content production, along with covering how to enhance the final output and make it more engaging to your audience.

Outcomes:

• Hands-on experience.
• Understand basic theory and the do's and don'ts of the photography world.
• Gain an understanding of functionality to enhance final photography output.

Advanced

Outcomes:

• Understand the theory behind a good photographer.
• Portrait lighting skills.
• Knowledge of basic post-production techniques.
• Understand the advanced narrative and purpose of the image, as well as the delivery platform being used and how to optimise your image accordingly.
• Course is 3-days in duration, delivered in-person at either our offices at Chalfont Grove (SL9 8TN) or at client location.
• There is a CPD accreditation of 21 hours upon course completion.
