Digital Culture

The course

If you want to learn a new skill, build your business through advanced social media ads, or change careers and move into the digital world, this course is for you. Social media skills are seriously in demand. You can often work from anywhere - including your home.

Our programme is an 11-week, web-based course, using a combination of online learning tools, live lessons and mentoring to give you the very best programme money can buy*.

This isn't a click-through exercise like some of the other courses out there. You’ll have weekly virtual lessons with a dedicated social media coach who’ll guide and support you throughout the duration of the course.

You’ll be learning from a global broadcaster’s social media team.

Once you’ve completed the course you’ll know how to plan and implement a social media campaign from start to finish, you’ll be creating original and engaging content, be able to confidently manage active social media platforms, and you’ll know how to use insights and analytics to shape future campaigns.

We’ll also tell you everything you need to know about using paid-for advertising techniques such as Facebook Ads and Instagram’s 'Promote Post' feature.

* unsubstantiated claim, but trust us – we're good. Scrap that, we’re better than good.

Who We Are

BFBS Academy

At BFBS Academy, we change people’s lives. We build confidence, develop skills and offer opportunities.

How do we do this? By training individuals, teams and organisations in how to communicate more effectively. More powerfully. We also offer training courses for military spouses and partners, as well as accredited courses specifically designed to upskill veterans and service leavers.

Our courses are practical and hands-on, and never boring. They get people into jobs. They cover everything from strategic communication theory to content creation, as well as audience insight, measurement and evaluation. If we don’t have a course that’s right for you, we can develop a bespoke one that is.

Our expert team includes media strategists, web content developers, social media managers, technologists, writers, audio and video producers and video journalists. They live and breathe this stuff. They deliver training that works.

Our Team

The digital CULTure programme is run by the team behind the hugely successful Social Media Spouses programme, from the BFBS Academy.

#SMSpouses is the UK’s first free online social media programme exclusively for military spouses and partners. The course is funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.

The course addresses a real need amongst military spouses and partners to be able to obtain the skills they need, in order to allow them the opportunity to find flexible and interesting work that fits around both military and family life.

The team also manages the social media channels for a global broadcaster, as well as delivering training on effective social media techniques to their colleagues. Impressive, right?
