As Head of BFBS Academy since 2017, June has had considerable experience in working with both the veterans as well as serving military community. June is an experienced leader within education, and qualified with a Masters in Education Leadership, and has a deep understanding of course development and delivery across several subject specialisms within the media sector.
Carolyn Kendall
Training Manager
Carolyn has been with the BFBS Academy since its inception in 2017, where she has supported over 90 veterans through the Academy's training programmes. Working alongside Kim, she helps build strategic relationships with leading production companies including Fremantle, All3Media, Sky, Amazon, BBC, and ITV to secure quality work placements for students.
Kim Nguyen
Curriculum Manager
As Curriculum Manager for BFBS Academy, Kim brings over 9 years of teaching experience developing talent and creating pathways into the creative industries. She builds strategic relationships with leading production companies including Fremantle, All3Media, Sky, Amazon, BBC and ITV to secure quality work placements for students.
Kieron Curtis
Account Executive
Kieron is the newest member of our team and joined in Spring 2025 as an Account Executive. He is responsible for managing our existing accounts, training logistics, planning and invoicing. Kieron also supports Adam Waters with specific projects and tasks.
Karen Patterson
Sales & Account Manager
Karen is our Sales & Account Manager and joined the BFBS Academy team in 2022. She manages tenders for both Academy and Creative teams, and has extensive experience in account management, sales development and tender writing. She manages all the procurement framework agreements through which clients can procure our services and leads on our social value proposition. Karen works closely with our clients, the BFBS account teams and trainers to create proposals which achieve our client’s learning objectives, researching potential new courses and developing training opportunities.
